About

An evening talk in the Architecture on Stage programme forming this year's Rick Mather Lecture. It features Worofila, a Dakar-based architecture practice led by Nzinga Mboup and Nicolas Rondet, whose buildings work with the local climate and use locally sourced, low-impact materials and traditional, community-led ways of building. The lecture celebrates architects making important contributions to thinking about sustainability and coincides with the book Ecosystems: A Contemporary African Architecture (MACK), which gathers Worofila's work to date, from housing and public buildings to infrastructure and spaces for learning and experimentation.
