Artists’ Open Studios is a free event that invites the public inside the artists’ studios on the top floor of Valentines Mansion, once the servants’ quarters. Visitors can watch demonstrations, take part in workshops, meet the artists and buy unique works of art. A number of local artists practice a variety of mediums there, including basketry, textiles, fused glass, paintings, sculpture and ceramics.
