About
"Barry from Watford: Shooting from the (new) hip" is a stand-up comedy show at Leicester Square Theatre. It stars Barry from Watford, a 92-year-old who became a cult star on Iain Lee's LBC 97.3FM phone-in show and was a regular "lifestyle guru" on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2. The show features fierce one-liners, biting satire and some swearing, billed as a rip-roaring, fast-paced and hilarious performance. His viral hits about 'Minty Biscuits' and 'Carpetright' have amassed hundreds of millions of hits, and his Channel 4 game show with Noel Edmonds, "Cheap Cheap Cheap", had literally hundreds of viewers.
