Bearcat Running Club is a running club that meets inside The Turk's Head pub every Sunday morning. It was founded in 2012 by Caitlin Limmer and is under the umbrella of Run England. Its ethos is 'the people come first, the running comes a very close second', with around 70-90 runners split into seven ability groups, each led by a UKA Leader in Running Fitness. The non-competitive club is also socially and community minded, raising large amounts of money for charity and organising its own sell-out Turks Head 10k Fun Run.
