About

This is the first seminar in the “Contemporary Global Challenges in Education and Justice” series, held in a hybrid format at the Centre for Education and International Development. It is organised by Dr Laila Kadiwal at UCL Institute of Education and chaired by Professor Elaine Chase. Speakers Tess Woolfenden of Debt Justice and Asad Rehman of Friends of the Earth will discuss why debt is a climate justice issue, the current debt crisis, and how climate justice is inseparable from economic, social and racial justice. It is free with essential pre-booking and is open to researchers, policy makers, teachers, students, development actors and the public.
