About
An evening of ska and reggae at The Dublin Castle, a Camden music venue. Headlining are Bim Skala Bim, a Boston ska rock band influenced by England's 2Tone movement, the Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley, whose Boston Blue Beat sound helped kick-start the Third Wave of Ska in the 1980s; over the years they have mixed in secret-agent themes, covers of classic rock acts, calypso and New Orleans music. They are joined by Rebelation, an internationally renowned reggae ska band fronted by male and female vocalists, steeped in 1960s Jamaican ska, rocksteady and 1970s roots with soul and gospel, who have headlined events such as the London International Ska Festival. The night promises a fab party.
