Cady Noland

An exhibition of new work by the artist Cady Noland at Gagosian's Davies Street gallery in London. Alongside the show, the gallery is relaunching The Clip-On Method, a two-volume, 600-page publication conceived, edited, and designed by the artist, published in 2021 and operating as an artwork in its own right. The book combines photographic documentation of Noland's sculptures and installations with sociological, political, and historical texts and the artist's own writings. It surveys four decades of her practice, addressing themes such as the mythology of American identity, systems of power and control, violence, celebrity, racism, and media culture.
