About

Christmas in Covent Garden is a seven-week festive celebration called The Theatre of Christmas, taking over the whole neighbourhood from November. It is presented by Covent Garden, inspired by the area's rich theatrical heritage, and invites visitors to step behind the curtain into a world of West End magic. Highlights include the annual lights switch on with over 300,000 sparkling lights and a 50ft Norwegian Spruce tree on the West Piazza, the Forest of Theatre with Christmas trees inspired by West End shows in the Market Building, daily snowfall on the Piazza, festive dining and late-night shopping.
