About

Divorce Party (WIP) is a comedy show at the Museum of Comedy, performed in English for audiences aged 18 and over. It is created and performed by Jen Zheng, a BAFTA nominated, Queer Northern Irish grown Chinese comic and animation director based in London, who was married at 23 and divorced at 26. The show exposes her ex husband's real divorce petition to explore the expectations placed upon wives and the blame and shame they are punished with if they should fail. It runs for 60 minutes and carries content warnings for sexual assault and racism.
