Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer's Academy

Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer's Academy is a three-session course that teaches the game by playing it, aimed at absolute beginners who want to learn how D&D works. It is run by Arcadia Games, with Game Master Tim, who has seven years' experience, guiding players step by step. Starting with a level 1 character, participants learn to use a character sheet, tell dice apart, make the most of combat, exploration and role-play, and build a backstory, leaving at level 3 by the end. Everything is provided apart from a phone or tablet, and graduates receive a voucher for a drop-in D&D session at Arcadia.
