Editing and Post Production Subject Taster Day: The Art of Post Production

A hands-on subject taster day at Ravensbourne University London introducing the world of editing and post-production, showing how raw footage becomes films, television programmes and digital content. Participants edit footage in Adobe Premiere Pro, learn three-point editing, try compositing and animation in Adobe After Effects, and create their own short piece. The workshop explores the roles of editors and visual effects artists and how technology, creativity and storytelling shape an audience's experience. It is aimed at Year 12 to Year 13 students and Level 2 and Level 3 learners interested in film, television, editing, visual effects and post-production.
