Evening Prayer is a simple, short spoken service lasting around 20 minutes. On days when there is no choir at the Cathedral, such as during school holidays, it is held at the Church of St Vedast on Foster Lane. The congregation says the words of the service, which includes a psalm, with readings from the Bible and prayers for the Church, the World and ourselves, and no music or sermon. Visitors can pick up an easy-to-follow order of service at the door.
