About
A free family day where children and their grown-ups explore the beauty of everyday objects through metal embossing, creating their own candlestick artwork from copper foil. It is run by the William Morris Gallery, drawing inspiration from metal objects in the Earthly Paradise exhibition, Rory Hutton's Useful & Beautiful print, and William Morris's own candlestick from Red House. Families can also follow a new gallery trail and pick up an activity booklet for the exhibition. Drop-in sessions are open to all families with children under 18 and are most suitable for ages 4 and up, with all materials provided.
