Family History Helpdesk is a drop-in session for people researching their family history, whether beginners or those who have hit a brick wall. Expert volunteers at Valence House offer help at the Local Studies Library in the Visitor Centre. It takes place on the last Tuesday of each month, except December due to Christmas closure. Entry is free and first come, first served.
