Friday Forum: ethics of air pollution debated over lunch.
About
A Friday Forum panel discussion on the ethics of air pollution, open to all Imperial College members, with lunch followed by a debate. It is organised with Imperial's Environmental Research Group and chaired by Professor Sir Stephen Holgate, with panellists including Sir Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England, Mete Coban, Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, and Dr Elizabeth Wan of 'Mums for Lungs'. The discussion covers how air pollution, poor health and inequality are related, and how ethical judgement depends on understanding different world views and sources of knowledge. A panel is followed by ample time for audience questions, with respondents Dr Kayla Schulte and Jamila Bolton-Gordon.
