About

Grotesques and Gargoyles: Family Clay Workshop is a hands-on family workshop held at Southwark Cathedral during the October half term. It is run by Southwark Cathedral and invites participants to discover the weird and wonderful creatures hiding around the building. Families learn about grotesques and gargoyles and then use air-dry clay to create their own fantastical creature to take home, whether fierce, funny, spooky or completely silly. The workshop is for children and young people aged 7 and over, who must be accompanied by an adult, with up to 4 children per adult.
