Highlights of the National Army Museum: BSL Tour
National Army Museum, SW3 4HT London, Chelsea
£2.00
About
A British Sign Language (BSL) tour discovering some of the National Army Museum's most remarkable exhibits, led by expert guide Edward Richards. It takes in compelling objects spanning more than 350 years, from the British Civil Wars to modern-day conflicts, including the slashed portrait of Oliver Cromwell, the skeleton of Marengo, Napoleon's favourite horse, and the robes worn by Lawrence of Arabia during the First World War. The tour reveals the historical significance of these items while exploring the human stories behind them. Richards has been delivering BSL tours in museums and galleries since 2002, including Tate Modern and the Design Museum.
