About

A guided one-hour tour of Oxford House, a listed Victorian building in Bethnal Green. It is run by Oxford House, set up in 1884 as one of the world's first 'settlement houses', as part of its heritage project Made in the East End. Visitors hear untold stories from the archives, see a 'secret chapel', learn about Gandhi's 1930s visit and the building's role in both World Wars, and enjoy 360-degree rooftop views over East London, weather permitting.
