Hocus Pocus
About
A Halloween sing-a-long film screening of the 1993 classic Hocus Pocus, presented by Students' Union UCL. It follows the Sanderson Sisters, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, who are accidentally resurrected in Salem on Halloween night and cause supernatural mischief. Expect witches, spells, talking cats and plenty of Halloween magic, with fancy dress highly encouraged. Tickets include a complimentary drink on arrival and the event is recommended for ages 16 and up.

Critics
5.4Mixed
Critics enjoy the playful, campy spooky atmosphere and the nostalgic charm of the three leads. They fault overacting, a weak and muddled plot, poor action, and a film that only appeals through childhood nostalgia.
