About
Holy Communion is a Christian service in which worshippers share bread and wine, recalling the last supper Jesus shared with his friends before his death. It is held at St Paul's Cathedral and follows the Book of Common Prayer of 1662, a distinctly Anglican order known for the poetry and language of its time. The celebration is at the centre of Christian worship and is known by many names, including the Eucharist and the Lord's Supper. You do not have to be a practicing member of the Church of England to attend; an easy-to-follow order of service guides newcomers through each part.
