About
Arctic Adventure is an interactive object-handling workshop for home educated children aged 5 to 7. It is part of the Horniman Museum's autumn home education workshops. Children explore Arctic animals up close and how their adaptations help them survive the cold, and learn about traditional Inuit life and homes and clothing. They handle Inuit objects such as snow shoes, snow goggles and a seal-skin parka, thinking about how they were used and identifying their materials.
