IDE Seminar Series with Dr QinQin Yu on pathogen genomics.

A seminar in the IDE Seminar Series, open to all, on the White City Campus. Dr QinQin Yu, a researcher in the Section of Viral Genomics at Statens Serum Institut in Denmark, gives the talk. She discusses potential biases in wastewater surveillance, presents a new genomics method for estimating pathogen effective population size that accounts for sampling bias, and introduces work on SARS-CoV-2 transmission in day care settings using linked genomics and registry data from Denmark.
