About
A screening of the 1994 horror-drama "Interview With The Vampire", directed by Neil Jordan and starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas. Louis, born an 18th-century lord, is now a bicentennial vampire telling his story to an eager biographer. After the death of his family he meets Lestat, a vampire who persuades him to choose immortality over death and become his companion. Gentle Louis eventually resolves to leave his violent maker, but Lestat guilts him into staying by turning a young girl, whose addition to the "family" breeds even more conflict.

Critics
6.7Good
Critics praise the film's sumptuous gothic atmosphere, striking production design and Cruise's magnetic, wickedly witty performance. They fault a self-indulgent script with clumsy speeches, occasionally slipping make-up, and miscast or emotionally underdeveloped lead characters.
