Jasper Llewelyn (caroline) + Support
The Horse Hospital, Colonnade, WC1N 1JD London, Bloomsbury
£12-16
About
An evening of live music at an unconventional gallery and performance space in Bloomsbury, with Jasper Llewellyn playing solo as the headliner alongside support acts. Jasper Llewellyn is a London musician best known as co-founder of the celebrated octet caroline, and this show is part of his first ever solo tour, which also includes dates supporting My New Band Believe in Europe and a headline set at Café Oto. He is touring behind his debut single "For the Teacher", released on Rough Trade Records with a video by artist Leo Benavides, a patchwork of ideas written over more than five years that he describes as an offering to his Buddhist teacher, Maitreyabandhu.
