Vortex Jazz Club, Gillett Square 11, N16 8AZ London, Dalston
£10
About
An after-party at a jazz club celebrating the release of the new album by drummer and composer Jeff "Tain" Watts, whose music is inspired by the results of the pandemic, from sociopolitical conditions to salutes to the fallen. The album is set to be released by this special Halloween date, and masks are encouraged. The DJ set is led by Chris Philips of One Jazz, an award-winning radio presenter who has shared jazz and other musics on London radio for 40 years, from the pirate station K-Jazz to Jazz FM, Kiss 100 and beyond.
