About
Jim Caruso's Cast Party with Billy Stritch at the piano is an 'extreme open mic': a variety show built in real time from whoever is in the room. It began as a Christmas party with friends and a piano in New York in 2002 and has become one of the city's best-loved nights out. Host Jim Caruso connects the dots between established stars and unknown newcomers, with Billy Stritch, a pop-jazz pianist and singer, supporting the singers. There is no rehearsal and no compulsory singing; audience members and performers alike are welcome to take the stage.
