Jumbi Friday Dance: Threads by Avs
Jumbi, Copeland Road 133, SE15 3SN London, Peckham
About
Threads is a club night bringing authentic sounds back to the dancefloor. It is held at Jumbi, a Hi-Fi music bar and restaurant in Peckham that celebrates the sounds and flavours of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, and is listed under Jumbi as organiser. The 6 November edition brings people from different walks of life together on one dancefloor, with sets from busssssssssa, sehmiskimmed, the DJ competition winner, and a Fat b2b to end the night. Different roots, shared rhythms, one thread.
