Kara-Lis Coverdale

Kara-Lis Coverdale performs her fourth full-length album, A Series of Actions in a Sphere of Forever, a collection of nine pieces dedicated to solo piano. Written and recorded during winter in a small rural studio in Ontario, it reflects a retreat from maximal sound and a return to acoustic fundamentals, keeping her signature blend of experimental electronics and traditional musicianship. The concert takes place in the Elgar Room, the Royal Albert Hall's versatile contemporary performance space, as part of the Steinway Series. It is presented by Royal Albert Hall and co-presented by MUTEK, with financial support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
