Laundry Day: free clothes give-away with mending workshops.

Laundry Day is a community event combining a free clothing give-away with mending workshops. It is run by Queer Swap together with Making Mee Studios, from Deptford Lounge. Queer Swap, which organises sustainable clothes swaps for the LGBT+ community, is giving away its overstock of adult clothing for free to anyone in need, while Making Mee Studios shows you how to mend and repair clothes and homewares, from darning a sock to patching a cushion cover. Everyone is welcome, and children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
