It marks the moment she takes over from her father Mauricio Venegas-Astorga as lead singer of the Anglo-Chilean group Quimantu. The evening spans Latin American and English traditions, from Victor Jara and Maria Elena Walsh to Steve Knightley, alongside Quimantu's arrangements of Western Classical music and English folk tunes. Her voice, rooted in family heritage and sung in Spanish and English, travels from the coast of England to the shores of South America.
