About

A free public online lecture, the third of four in a series on the theology, history, and practice of worship. It is given by Dr Daniel Johnson, Programme leader for the Worship Studies programme at London School of Theology, and lasts one hour with time for questions. This session looks at the hymn writer Isaac Watts, his motivations for writing hymns, and how his work fills minds and mouths with truth and transforms affections in worship. Attendees do not need to come to all four sessions.
