The Lexington Pop Quiz with Paul Guided Missile is the legendary pop music quiz held on Mondays at The Lexington, with teams of up to six competing for a first prize of £60 and a second prize of a bottle of wine or a round of shots. The quizmaster Paul, called a London legend by Billy Reeves of BBC London 94.9, guides players through silly rounds such as one based on Bob Holness's 'Blockbusters' and Badly Drawing Boy, in which teams guess an LP sleeve from a child's scrawl. The quiz has been named 'the best pop quiz in town' by Pub Quizzers and featured in Time Out's 'London's Ten Best Pub Quizzes'. Entry costs £2 per person, tables can be reserved by email, and the 18+ venue asks visitors to bring ID.
