About

The LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2026 Grand Final brings the Comedy Bloomers competition to the Comedy Store in London. Now in its fifth year, it drew over 140 comedians from across the UK, and ten finalists compete for the title and a £1,000 cash prize. Audiences join judges Chloe Petts, Tia Kofi, Josh Jones and James Barr in deciding the winner, with host Ciara O'Connor and headline act Sydney May, last year's winner. The acts cover topics such as drag, dating, disability, trans identity, migration and the everyday absurdities of LGBTQ+ life.
