London Society BONFIRE NIGHT - Hampstead Heath 🎆🎇🎆🎇🎆
Outside Archway Underground Station, Highgate Hill exit, Archway, London, London
About
A group bonfire night outing: a short casual walk to Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath to see the city skyline, possibly with fireworks lit amid it, followed by an optional drink at the 'Oak and Pastor' pub, which the host describes as having a relaxed, homely Irish atmosphere. It is hosted by Calvin, super organizer of the London Society of Explorers, a Meetup group. The event marks Bonfire Night, which commemorates the failed 1605 attempt by Guy Fawkes to blow up Parliament and assassinate King James the 1st. Donations to the host are welcome but optional, and an ID should be brought along in case it is asked for at the pub.
