About
Make New Friends At A Bookshop (Halloween Edition) is a social gathering where book lovers meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. It is hosted by Ken for the Science and Philosophy Book Club, a group that wants a quieter alternative to loud pubs and clubs. The group meets in the ground floor lounge bar of the Doubletree Hilton Hotel, then walks together to a Waterstones bookshop near Russell Square to explore its fiction and non-fiction sections while chatting, before returning to the hotel bar for the night. Costumes as favourite book characters are welcome but optional.
