About

Medicine at the Crick is an event series from The Francis Crick Institute that showcases major advances in biomedical science. This edition, hosted by Dr David LV Bauer and Prof Emma Wall, gathers five international experts to discuss pathogens that persist in the body rather than being cleared, such as Ebola, Salmonella Typhi, pneumococcus, SARS-CoV-2 and hepatitis B. It features a series of talks, a panel discussion and a networking reception, and is open to the biomedical community and medical press.
