A memorial service lasting around 45 minutes with prayers, Bible readings, a short reflection on death, dying and hope in eternal life, and easy hymns. Those attending can light a candle in memory of a loved one and may bring a flower to lay as part of a display kept for the Sunday service the next day. It is a chance for anyone living with grief to come together to pray for comfort and remember loved ones and those who have no one to remember them. All are welcome, with a quiet play area for children accompanied by adult carers.
