Minions & Monsters
Picturehouse Central, Great Windmill Street, W1D 7DH London, Covent Garden
About
A Kids' Club screening of the animated comedy Minions & Monsters, followed by a Monster Party. Directed by Pierre Coffin, the film tells the rambunctious and ridiculous story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood and became slapstick movie stars, then unleashed monsters onto the world. Two new Minions, James and Henry, summon fearsome monsters from a spellbook to play the villains in their own movie, then band together to save the planet from the mayhem they have created.

Critics
6.8Good
Critics praise the inventive, affectionate homage to film history, the humor and the voice performances. They fault franchise routine, thin storytelling and a loss of pace and inventiveness after a strong opening.
