About
The Music Complex Fundraiser is a night of live music and DJs at the pub venue The Fox & Firkin, with a line-up including DJ John Brown, Blurt, The DNA Test, Lello and Dave Okumu & The Means. It raises funds for Deptford's Music Complex, which has provided affordable rehearsal and creative spaces for musicians, producers and artists for over 20 years. After the financial impact of COVID-19 and a significant rent increase, the grassroots space faces an urgent funding challenge. Organisers and artists, including Dave Okumu of The Invisible, say the space has been central to nurturing local talent and must be supported to survive.
