About

OVERFLOOD (VOILA! Festival) is a 45-minute theatre piece set deep underground in a doomsday bunker, where three strangers thrown together by the tides of war have made themselves into a family. It is directed by Kylie Williams, who performs alongside devisers Hector Berenger and Hollie Milne, with sound design by Hollie Milne. Day after day their routine, repeated like a loop, becomes ritual dedicated to survival, until it begins to slip and the family starts to break apart. The show is in English and non-verbal, is recommended for ages 12 and up, and carries warnings for mentions of violence, reference to guns, and loud noises including sirens.
