About
Peter Worley gives a talk asking whether children can do philosophy and whether teachers and philosophers can do philosophy for children. He revisits his first published paper from 2008 and considers how his views on the extent to which children can do philosophy have developed and changed. Drawing on 23 years of teaching, writing and thinking about the topic, he discusses where the field stands, where it can go, the challenges of doing philosophy with children, and what it still has to offer. Worley is a philosopher, educator and author, creator of the PhiE pedagogy, founder of The Philosophy Foundation, and author or editor of eleven books including The If Machine.
