About
Play Lab: Lum'a is a free, drop-in Halloween making session for children and families. Thursday's session is with Chahine Fellahi, and is inspired by the spirit and legacy of artist and curator Dia Batal. Children take part in multicoloured shadow play, invent languages using gestures and shapes, intervene in the space, and craft costumes and lanterns to play with and take home. Drawing on Arabic calligraphy, poetry and storytelling, the session suits ages 0-11 and runs 11am-6pm.
