About
The Genesis Poetry Slam is an electric night of spoken word performances, with rhymes, rhythms, laughter and possibly tears. It has been running for over 15 years and is London's only three-round poetry slam, in which up to 12 poets compete to reach the final round and claim the title of slam champion for the month. The November slam sees poets battle it out for a place in the December Grand Final. Whether you come to perform or simply to listen, you'll be part of one of the friendliest, most supportive slam communities around.
