About
Recitals at Lunch is a series of intimate lunchtime music performances held in the historic Crush Room of the Royal Opera House. The 26 October recital features Finzi's evocative song cycle Earth and Air and Rain, interwoven with readings of Thomas Hardy's poetry read by actor Tim McMullan. The performances are curated by the Royal Opera House's musicians, from members of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and guest artists to Jette Parker Artists. This distinctive programme brings words and music into dialogue and will be recorded for Delphian Records next year.
