About

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical is a multi award-winning improvised musical comedy playing at the Cambridge Theatre. The cast and band take suggestions shouted out by the audience for the show's setting, musical style and title, and turn them into a brand-new musical on the spot. The story follows a musical theatre writer approaching his deadline who needs the audience's help with fresh ideas. Winner of the 2019 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and Family, the show has filled venues since 2008 and also inspired a BBC Radio 4 series.
