About
An in-person signing session at the record shop Banquet Records in Kingston upon Thames, where fans can meet the artist and have copies of his new album signed. The guest is Skepta, a rapper, writer and producer, who signs copies of his long awaited new album 'The Fork and Knife'. The album is rooted in the sounds and culture of contemporary Britain while looking beyond its borders, moving between grime, garage, house, jungle and electronic music. It explores what it means to be British, the son of Nigerian immigrants, embracing diaspora as a source of strength; the 6:00pm start welcomes all ages, with albums collected at the shop during the session.
