SMH Book Club on Atwood's The Penelopiad.

An evening book club session devoted to conversation about a shared read. It is run by St Margaret's House, whose club meets in the Anson Room at its building on Old Ford Road. This meeting discusses Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad, in which Penelope wanders the underworld telling her own side of the myth as a tale of lust, greed and murder. The evening also features a festive book swap with wrapped books described in three words, plus festive snacks.
