About

some fundamental forces is an art exhibition at Southwark Park Galleries, shown across its Lake Gallery and Dilston Gallery. It is the first comprehensive solo exhibition in the UK of the Irish artist Isabel Nolan, who represents Ireland at the 61st Venice Biennale. Spanning works from 2005 to 2025, it brings together painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, photography and tapestry. Nolan's work argues that art can go beyond documenting the world, urging viewers to look to their place in the universe and the vastness of the cosmos.
