About

Spooky Storytelling with John Dougherty is a spooky storytime event on Halloween at the Discover Children's Story Centre. Author and poet John Dougherty reads from his new picture book Something in the Darkness, accompanied by music and lots of interactive fun. The event asks what is out there in the dark, as strange whispers seem to follow your every step. It is for ages 4 and up and lasts 60 minutes.
