St Martin – Spiel und Appeal (Whitechapel)

Each year a short play towards the end of the service recalls Saint Martin, traditionally performed in Whitechapel alternately by children and adults. This year it is once again the children's turn, guided by Joney, and more performers are still being sought. In keeping with Martin, words are followed by deeds: the Martin's Appeal asks for donations of goods such as toiletries, towels, baby nappies, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel and shaving items for the Jesuit Refugee Service in neighbouring Wapping, to be placed on the table next to the sacristy before the service.
